REVIEWS:

In Jane Beaudry’s book The Business of Personal Relationships, she attempts the impossible by clearly describing how our brain works and gives examples of how The Beaudry Process moves even successful people to greater heights of achievement, fulfillment and “success.”  The powerful thing is that The Beaudry Process works differently for different people because everyone has a unique history that prevents them from being their full potential or we would live in a world of total awe and enlightenment.   Having experienced The Beaudry Process first hand, I can tell you that the book is good, but it is only a hint of the outcome of the Beaudry experience itself.

As a business executive having worked in large corporations and also having a small business of my own, I can say that we are never too old to learn. This book, which is a short but powerful read, offers insights into how business leaders can use their skills, but more importantly, their thoughts and words, in order to motivate their people and build deeper, stronger relationships. When you boil it down, that is really what business leaders must do. Motivate others in order to drive actions….productive actions that begin with a connection, a relationship. The author nails it and offers us additional tools (our thoughts) for us to be our highest and best self.

As former Sr. VP of Neiman Marcus and Smithsonian Director, I’m impressed how the author has pulled together so many lessons I’ve experienced in my 42 year career. Not only will her ideas enhance one’s own performance, but her writings would make an excellent gift to a protege….or an errant boss.

Very interesting stories, I liked the idea of this type of professional development.
